Amid THE MANY FACES OF DONALD DUCK, another face . . .

. . . pops in. This mystery visage belongs to a young girl simply referred to here as "Doreen," who presents an animated Don Duck with an animated version of miniature Mickey Mouse Ears. Disney "complete" types have tried to figure out for years who this little person could be. Over the decades, many if not most viewers have contended this must be Doreen Massey as a young miss. After all, famed geographer Massey is generally rated the most notable Doreen of all time, and she circulated widely. However, some hypothesize that notorious witch Doreen V-a-l-i-e-n-t-e could have begun her career by consorting with cartoons, while others suggest that History's third most famous Doreen--surname Lawrence--is a likely suspect, but these jokers have not compared the complexions of the pair in question. I'd argue that Don Duck's Doreen's last name was Tracey, who was very much alive in 2007, though not given official credit here. While only the 13th most notable person bearing her given name, Doreen Isabelle Tracey was born in Britain like most of the most famous Doreen's. This one did two things that clinch her identity in my book. First, she eventually saw the light and defected from Dizzy to Warner Bros. More importantly, she made her big bucks as a centerfold for gentlemen's periodicals. Enough said.
