Loved season 1 and was so disappointed in season 2 until the last 3 episodes.
It falters and is all over the place. The writing is awful.
Characters are picked up and dropped with storylines disappearing.
Such a shame as the talented cast have been let down by the creator and writers.

The Bradley story line of her looking for her brother was a waste of my time
No one cares about him
They really went in on the covid thing I get it I'm just so sick of hearing about it
The story lines in this episode just were flat, besides the fiery Italian lady, but even her situation was kind of handled weirdly.

Halfway through this season things felt a little shaky, but I'm excited about where they took it. Great storytelling, acting, directing, all of it. I mean, REALLY well done. You feel like you're right in it with these characters in all of their messiness, striving, winning and losing.
One of the things I'm loving about this show is how multi-dimensional the characters are. Just like real people (at least *interesting* people), they grow and change and surprise us over time. None of them acts predictably -- they are all evolving as the stories unfold.
For those who didn't think Bradley's brother was a character anyone cares about (*hand raised*)... I care about him! I was incredibly moved by that storyline. Maybe you have to come from a dysfunctional family to relate. Also, that storyline is being used to explore Bradley's own personal evolution, as well as her relationships with both Laura and Corey.
Anyway, I love, love, LOVE this show and can't wait to see its next evolution!

It surprises me when people say they don't know what this season is about. It's main focus was cancel culture. It took place in the context of the pandemic but cancel culture was the story.
It dares to ask the question, "Is there room nowadays to allow for growth and redemption?" Are people either good or evil or are there shades of grey? And who are these people making forever judgements on others in whose shoes they've never walked?
It asked important questions and attempted to open people's eyes to the fact that humans are all flawed. So, what happens when we're all cancelled?

S2 is a let down, the finale felt awkward and lost, I doubt there will be a series 3. The series was so much less than S1, the writers seem to have run out of a plot.
