Brilliant movie albeit a few inconsistances. The movie was well made with decent actors. The movie could be described as a 'what if' movie but sadly these incidences have happened in real life. It delves upon the undeducated minds of the public and the trolls of social media crrating something out of nothing with innocent people getting hurt. Society online unfortunately breeds a vast amount of stupidity and uneducatedness. It shows how most people will believe anything AND act upon false information. The inconsistency is of police not acting on relevent information immediately. Then again theres an argument for reality there too I suppose. It opens up the need to seek out the real perpetrators of such incidences ie the ones that start rumours and the ones that act on false information based on nothing. Also the mindsets of most people sadly. Most people following the masses instead of the truth is alas society in the modern era. All in all a pretty decent current movie.
Accused is one of those films that you don't know where it's going to go till the penny drops. We see harri and his girlfriend Chloe in bed. He leaves and takes a normal journey on the train. His going to house sit for his parents and look after the cute doggo. But after an explosion happens it's not long before some scumbag online throws Harris name out and now everyone thinks his responsible. It comes down tooor harri fighting for his life against two thugs which was extremely sad to watch but glorious to see him turn the tables. It just shows the dangers of being an online piece of trash and how innocent people can get involved in something they didn't do. The actor playing harri did a very good job though and overall it was a sad but good watch.
An intense thriller capturing the real dangers of social media and stereotyping anyone that doesn't always look the same as you.
Pin points just how easy it is to stir up hate and rage within people. Also how fake news can move so very fast within social media platforms.
Even touching on how the police force are under resourced and funded to attend the needs of the people. A very well thought out film with nail biting moments throughout. A very small cast but keeps you glued watching it from the very start. Would definitely recommend everyone to watch this who believes everything they see on social.

This is an 88-min Tubi-Original movie available for free and you should consider watching this if you're in the mood for something decently intense and short.
The only reasons I considered watching this random movie, on Tubi (when was the last time you streamed something on Tubi, right?) are the director, Philip Barantini (I know him from "Boiling Point" - a fantastic film that you should watch RN if you haven't) and, a bunch of articles from the UK that said they found this to be one of the most intense films they'd watched recently.
Accused follow Harri Bhavsar, wrongly accused for being a London bomber and what happens after his name and pictures are put online. The film has a slow start in the first 40 mins, and the intensity kicks up a notch in the second half. In the end though, (not sure how to feel about the climax) the commentary around the real perpetrator and the what Harri continues to go through made me appreciate the story more.
Not the best, but I didn't mind the decent 90 mins for a quick watch. Would recommend that you check it out as well, especially since it's free on Tubi.

I was really hoping this was going to be great, and I understand that the obvious could have literally ended the movie in less than an hr. But, use your imaginations writers!!in the era we live now, This could have been played out in so many other ways that would have pulled the viewer in, vs irritated is to not enjoying the film. Hopefully you learn from this one and your next project will be more believable. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all bad. I will say, the ending was good. But what led up to it, should have been written and played out in a way that would have really wanted the viewer to want more.
