Beautiful movie in all aspects. Great acting. It's a very visual movie meaning there is not much talking However the actors does well preforming mainly in silence. Touching scenes and an amazing cinematography! A movie in which it's very hard to predict what's coming next, which makes it exciting. But with that said, the plot is a little blurry. It is as if it changes several times during the movie. And I'm still unsure what exactly the plot is.
I think the movie gets better when watching it a second time. Can't wait to see it again.

An island afflicted with an unknown sleep disorder is explored by someone ignoring the governmental rules of staying away. Whilst there a love story of bizarre proportions takes place, and the eeriness of the situation presents the ethereal backdrop for everything to play out.
This is definitely a beautiful piece to watch and the tone that it portrays is exceptionally evocative to get lost in. The imagery is striking and the blurring of reality with fantasy is so subtle at times it really does strike an emotional chord.
It's a completely competent and vivid piece, a bold debut, and an intimate two-hander in a vibrant landscape.

I really enjoyed this movie. The story line has you constantly wondering how it's going to end. The female lead, Olivia Vinall, was awesome in her delivery and smooth as silk voice. The movie transported me to where this was all happening. Dialog was crisp and very effective. I went away wanting to see more of Ms Vinall's work. She is now on my radar for people to watch. Someone from Hollywood needs to discover this actress with the perfect voice.
This was well made and the trailer made it look really interesting. Watching the film though, for me, I found it far too slow to develop. It just wasn't that interesting watching someone wander around on their own for that length of time whilst waiting for the story to be intercut.
It is well shot and acted, and clearly was made on a budget, but it sort of feels it would work better as a short story than it does as a 90 minute film.

Beautiful, mysterious, and genuinely moving.
Despite the slow tempo I was engaged throughout the entire film. The breathtaking scenery, the unfolding mystery and the love story between two people who haven't even met made for an interesting story told in a unique way. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and the film has a very dreamy feel. With very few actual words spoken it still manages to tell a complex story about love that makes you question your understanding of what love is.
Also very noteworthy is the visual aesthetics in this film - it is something different. Visually, some of the shots almost reminded me of an Wes Anderson movie, stunning and distinctive.
