"Say I Do," is a rare gem amongst other current shows.
The marriage/wedding shows we typically see are about dating around, hooking up, blind/quick engagements, hot passion and drama, or something else that totally destroys the beauty of marriage and the meaningful relationships they are built upon.
This show is the opposite. It takes solid and beautiful long term relationships that have endured problems, insecurities, financial hardship, death of a family member, etc, and gives them a chance to start over... all while giving them their dream wedding.
I am sure, like most shows, it is partly staged in some areas, or scripted in others. But, the show seems real, and raw, and emotional. It is easy to find yourself cheering on the couple as they rebuild their life and love.
Outside of the topic of the show. The directing, lighting, cinematography and music are amazing! They do an amazing job of making a simple tv show feel like a grand and amazing high budget film. Great editing and timing.
Well done! I hope we get more seasons and can continue to show the splendid beauty of love and hard work in marriage.

I wasn't even going to watch it but am so glad I did...
Each couple had their own unique set of issues to be overcome and the hosts were just so sincere in their advice and candid about their own life experiences. I bawled like a baby.
Jeremiah made me laugh so hard - what a great bunch of guys. I hope to see more in the future!

Who the heck is cutting onions in here?!!! How sweet is that these guys are planning this for their partners. The weddings are beautiful and the planners have so much personality! I love this show and I am freaking crying everytime! Goodness they gotta stop doing this to me! Lol love love love!!!
I am in love with this show! Each couple's story was so captivating and I found myself rooting for each of them. Each story and circumstance was pretty eye opening to hardships or obstacles that others have to endure, especially Randy and Skylar's. I absolutely fell in love with the three "groomsmen" or hosts. They really shared their stories and seemed personally invested in those they were helping. I hope there is a Season 2!
I'm a sucker for weddings and shows about weddings, so when I saw this pop up on Netflix I didn't hesitate to hit play. 8 hours later and I'm wrecked, in a good way. This show is beautiful. Each couple is truly deserving of such a wonderful experience and that makes viewers want to root for them all. The love stories are so genuine as is the caring hosts, Thai, Jeremiah, and Gabriele. I want to be friends with all three of them and I also would love to be friends with every single couple too. It's all just so heartwarming and feel-good. Exactly what's needed in the world right now and I truly hope there's a season two in the works. Grab a bunch of tissues and get cozy because you'll be bingeing this one until the final episode for sure!
