One for the rubbish bin

Having an interest in productions coming out of the COVID era I took a chance on this little known one, seeing the awards it seemed to have garnered. My first thought seems to echo that of another reviewer here, which is the incredulity of this deserving an award, let alone more than ten minutes of anyone's time.

It would be too generous to give it even a single star; on all fronts it is just a shambles - poor writing with an overly familiar back story, added to this amateurish production throughout, and stale acting that would make staring at a cardboard box more engaging. At many times, it feels entirely self-indulgent, almost forcing the viewer to look away.

Good look at life during COVID

This was good to see now, but will also be something for people in the future to look back on to see how relationships were different during that time. A smart movie, I guess directed remotely during the pandemic. Good relationship development.

This is a must-see movie!

I truly enjoyed this movie. Perfect writing and wonderful actors! This is definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. I highly recommend this movie!

This is a must miss zeitgeist!

Though zeitgeist it certainly is, as it reflects and instills the please-forget-me-and-let-this-hell-be-over feeling that the COVID-19 generation will likely never be able to look back and laugh on.

The movie itself suffers from bad writing, bad acting, and bad production. Did they just randomly pick pieces of film off the editing room floor? Virtually nothing saves this film from itself, and while they claim to have awards, that only demonstrates how corrupt and meaningless that system has become over the years.

The once saving grace of the production?

None.

Trivia
The entire film was directed by Phil Gorn via FaceTime. The cast was minimal and often there were only one or two actors on set at the same time. The crew was also the bare minimum. All safety precautions were taken for cast and crew during these times of Covid-19, including everyone wearing masks, social distancing and hand sanitizer. Plenty of sanitizer.
