Devil's Island

The movie looks like a draft of a movie. It's lacking all the parts where you'd normally go " Ahh ok !" So much is left unsaid that you have to make your own story with the 2 or 3 details they do tell us. The girl has a certain charm and is not a bad actress. That can't be said for all the other actors in this "movie"

Was reading the reviews after watching the movie.

I have so many questions..... thank god it was short. True "face plant".

I don't normally write reviews but if I can save at least one person from watching this mind numbingly ridiculous garbage, then writing this will be worth it.

So many plot holes, they don't explain anything about anything...

I'd rather eat the stale mouldy popcorn that's stuffed between my couch cushions and watch sharknado than watch this ever again.

This rubbish would definitely be in my "All Time Worst 5 Films". After it finished I wished I'd NEVER bothered to watch it and had continued with the much more interesting job I WAS doing, of watching paint dry on a wall. I feel sure that somewhere down the line IMDB. Com must have an interest in this because when I checked out the reviews BEFORE I watched it, the reviews didn't exactly scream out " avoid like the plague" which it should have done - it is absolutely DIRE! First, the plus-points. The location looked quite nice. Now, the minus's. Acting, amateur and weak. Small cast, I especially wonder how Peter Berwick has survived "nearly half a century" in THIS cut-throat business? Story and script - there IS NO story, not an interesting or believable one anyway. The ending was the absolute worst - WHO or what were The Wolves? Why was the protagonist being threatend? What happened to Mort? What happened to Sam at the endand why did she appears as she did? Why did Michael behave the way he did towards her? It¡s way past time IMDB. Com gave a "Zero" option.

So we start this one off with a Pawnee myth? And a boat.

And then....confusion, as some girl stares out at a lake, dances around the house, CLOTHED...boring, and walks around an island trying to get a signal on her phone. Uh oh, then she meets malingering old hillbilly on the dock.

Then girl is apparently being stalked. Then weird girl goes out and gets startled by Mort the hillbilly...who decides to come up behind her and grab her shoulder rather than call out to her? -1 star for dumb.

Okay now so she catches this guy Michael walking into her house holding a hammer. And eventually she puts him down. Finally.

Then one month later...She's doing her dancing act again around the house and docks and wherever....and gee...what a lame ending. -1 Star. 3/10.
