HOOKED AT THR START

I got hooked at episode one: the fairytale settings, the OST, and the visuals

Not the best start, but you should continue watching.

Not the best start, but you should continue watching. The first episode of the greatest South Korean series was a little disappointing to me, but it is necessary at least so you should watch it and move on to the second directly

Trivia
In episode 1, at the 45 minute mark, there is a scene where two characters are pushing a broken motorcycle on a bridge. As they walk, messages of encouragement are shown on the inside of the bridge's bannister: "Another long day, right? Cheer up!", "You will meet your soul mate soon" - as well as a "meta" billboard advertising this exact Netflix show, Its Okay Not to Be Okay. The messages on the bridge are based on reality. South Korea has one of the highest suicide rates in the world and jumping off a Han river bridge is one of the ways people commit suicide, so the government has added these messages to help prevent suicides.
