a true masterpiece

Runner, what is there to say about this movie in which a young teenage girl Noah, played by Nadia van den Bulk, has to overcome her drug abuse. It shows the darker side of the almost fantastical teenage life that some people imagine. The performances by the actors really come into play here. Ms. van den Bulk, who has on multiple occasions been compared to Prince Charming from the critically acclaimed movie Shrek 2, gives an interesting look into the life of an at-risk teenager; The struggle she has to fight is a picture closer to home than some may like to admit. And then there's Isaac, played by Lazlo Cordua, he serves as the temptation for Noah. The delivery of his lines with such a soft and tempting voice really hammers that fact home. All of this was creaed with a budget of only 1200 euros. This just goes to show that good stories don't need big budgets. this concludes my review of Runner.
