It's like watching a short-form drama, similar to the ones people consume on DramaBox and ShortMax.
For me, the whole series is a trashy continuation of the 2016 version, spiraling down to join GMA's other forgettable shows from the past.
The 2005 Encantadia was well-written-you could even compare it to other international fantasy series. This time, you're only getting the title, but with a messy plot and glaring inconsistencies. Even the setup looks like a studio sitcom.
You could film Bubble Gang skits at their location and viewers wouldn't even notice the difference.
They need to level up and improve, or else most viewers will just wait and watch the final episode.
The wait isn't worth it.

So disappointing. The fans waited for the whole 9 years just to get this kind of storyline? Better if they did another adaption rather than making the continuation. The creation of Terra was so forced and she's not even THAT special- I mean her, being a half human is never a special factor after all. Imagine, Encantadia is a magical world full of enchanting stuffs and powers only to end up being saved by HALF HUMAN? They really underestimated the powers in Encantadia and it doesn't make sense. The insert of being a "human" is too forced as well. I couldn't bring myself to continue watching the SANGGRE because as an Encantadia Fan since 2016, all we ever wanted is the continuation of the cliff hanging ending in 2016 not a bunch of another Sanggres when the Original Sanggres in 2016 wasn't even able to showcase their real talents and powers.
Heard that the old writers and/or director was switched so the plot and story now is very VERY disappointing. I feel that it is so unnecessary for the writers to kill off pretty much every single characters there. If they wanted the story to mainly focus on terra then why even bother add in the other characters?? It could've just been a terra movie🤦♀️ so so SO disappointing and I know that many and i mean MANY others feel the same way. This is like the way for the writers to have a killing spree🤦♀️🤦♀️ its so stupid how they nerfed powerful characters like cassiopea could have contributed in defeating mitena but instead she got downgraded💀💀 alena got hella nerfed too and pirena🤦♀️ she is a retired and intelligent villain so i really dont see the need to have her downgrade like that?? And lira? Sorry not sorry but how the hell do you nerf that badly🤦♀️🤦♀️
The information on this page is false. There is no such production as the one identified on this page. The person who created this page obviously took much effort in filling details, some of it based on the real Encantadia production which aired from 2016 to 2017.
As someone who has followed and loved Encantadia from its previous versions especially the 2016 adaptation I am deeply disappointed with the direction that Encantadia 2025 has taken. It's honestly painful to watch something that once held so much meaning become stripped of its emotional depth, strong storytelling, and respect for legacy characters.
The way the original characters were handled was extremely careless. They were treated as if they were disposable - characters who were once powerful, wise, and emotionally complex were killed off without any proper build-up, meaningful closure, or respectful send-off. For example, Cassiopeia, who is now a Bataluman (a goddess-level being), was portrayed as weak and lacking wisdom - the very traits that once defined her. There was no effort to show her power, her intelligence, or her connection to the realms. She was simply removed.
Cassandra was another huge letdown. The character has so much potential - she is born from a royal line, she is unique, and was meant to represent the bridge between generations. But she was poorly written and underdeveloped. It felt like she was intentionally set up to fail, just so the new generation could be pushed to the spotlight. There was no proper arc, no bonding with the old Sang'gres, no real emotional scenes, no development of her power. Then just like that, she's gone. No purpose, no payoff.
I understand that the 2025 series is meant to tell a new story. But pushing the new generation forward should not require destroying or weakening the legacy of the past characters. That's not how you honor the world you're building. That's not how you handle a fantasy franchise with so much emotional investment from its fans.
Even if this is just the "prologue," as they say, a prologue should still have structure, emotional weight, and narrative purpose. What we got instead were rushed scenes, weak battles, confusing transitions, and characters we barely had time to connect with before they were thrown away. There's no sense of direction the story jumps around, and the pacing feels broken. It's clear the planning was rushed, and the execution is all over the place.
And worst of all, when fans gave feedback not even bashing, just real, constructive criticism some of the writers replied in sarcastic and dismissive ways. That's unprofessional. A show that thrives on community support should learn to listen to that community, not belittle them. Especially when we, the fans, have waited nearly a decade, only to be met with storytelling that feels empty, emotionless, and disrespectful to what came before.
Encantadia 2025 had so much potential. It still does - if they choose to listen. But as of now, it feels like a show that has lost its way, failed to honor its past, and disrespected the very fans who helped carry it all these years. That's why the ratings are dropping. That's why the reviews are poor. And that's why we speak up. Because this show deserved better. And so did we.
