Qian gu jue chen

It took a long time for me to get emotionally attached to this drama (about 20 episodes), but it was well worth the wait. This is one of the most heart-wrenching, tear-jerking cdramas I've watched, sacrifice for the loved one being a main motivator for several characters. The love story between two of the four true gods is masterfully told, spanning over 60,000 years. I love how the characters grew - Bai Jue (played impressively by the gorgeous Xu Kai) from an "Ice Cube" to somebody who could love so deeply he would sacrifice his life for her, and Shang Gu (played by Zhou Dong Yu) from a rather spoiled weak goddess to a formidable one in terms of physical, spiritual and moral strength. It was gripping to find out whether the main characters could overcome a doomed destiny.

I am in the status of sinking into every details of the film because of the story, acting and graphics and vfx. Everything is beautiful and emotional though happy or sad thru the line. You will find out lots of details that tell you abt the love and sacrifice among Shang gu and male lead, the performance from the casts really stunt and touch your heart, you will not be regretted to spend time with this film.

My favorite movie of summer 2021. I have watched it over and over 10 times, each time amused by a new discovery about movies.

Is not just love between 2 lover or the main lead even though is a huge part of this drama. Is a very touching &highly recommended drama because it has great message and values in many of the characters. Love that one can destruct everything or ugly one poison with jealousy yet theres love that protect and give everything not just between couples but the master disciple , master servant , father daughter love are all so beautiful, unconditional thats heart wrenching, not stupid but understandable & touching

Actors actress are superb acting, CGI, OST are good , i cant get over the theme songs.

It also shows character growth the young playful Chief God to the great leader that unites all, Icy Bai Que to the man able to express himself.

It also portray a great great message of power& responsibility. Power come with huge responsibility , everything is fair and will come around no matter how rich, high or low status quo, like Wu huan , Gu jun, Mu guang, Shang Gu , ZaoEr.

SG step up n never deny her responsibility in time of need, she did not blame fate or any1 A never grateful maid end up destroying all she ever had. GJ who stayed true n loyal it might not be agreeable the decision the ML acted alone but still understandable Overall is a beautiful drama, of the best Xanxia in par to great one like 10miles , pillow dream.

The story is beautifully told and the CGI Comparing to the other cdrama is quite adequate although it lacks a little in some places. You can truly feel every emotion with the character as the writers spend time developing them. But the primary emotion that strikes hard is grief and separation. The common theme in the show revolves around love and sacrifice, which is a beautiful message to convey especially if your protagonists are powerful Gods. Xu Kai charmingly potrays Bai Jue with sincerity and Truth, Zhou Dongyu perfectly captures the playfulness of a young person. Some other Notable performances that must be praised are Liu Xueyi and Jenny Zhang respectively. You will be hooked from the start and end up binge watching it within a day or two.
