Amy Schumer Learns to Cook

My wife and I are both cracking up watching this show. An earnest show with a naturally funny host. No pretense. This is probably opening a large new audience for the Food Network while leaving some of their old (figurative and literal) audience behind.

Had to leave a review because this show is no where near as bad as people are saying. Normal cooking shows bore me after awhile and feel staged. It's refreshing to see an unfiltered and authentic cooking show! Laughed out loud every episode. Amy and Chris' dynamic is fun to watch and I hope there's a second season. Don't listen to the naysayers!

The show was perfect to watch during Covid - light funny and normal food we could all cook. I hope there is a season 2!

I'm not an Amy Schumer hater. I think her stand up is usually pretty funny, but this was not funny. I felt bad for her husband. He's actually very good in front of the camera and I feel like he is probably a really good chef. We wouldn't know because she talks over him constantly in an effort to be the center of attention. The show is not really about her learning to cook, it's about her trying to be funny unfortunately at the expense of her husband. The poor guy can't get a word in edgewise. She rarely lets him complete a full sentence.

I enjoyed this show and want to try all of the recipes! It is the first cooking show I've watched in a long time. Would recommend to anyone that likes to cook.
