    Very poorly edited

I had high expectations of this documentary since it was created by the FIFA team who own all kinds of footage that no one else has access to but this one is edited so badly it was painful to watch at times.

First, for a football documentary focusing on World Cup, it had very little actual football footage. Most of the documentary consists of pre-match or post-match celebrations with very little actual in game footage.

Second, even those in-game footages didn't show much of the game. A player passes the ball to another, he shoots and scores but all you see is their faces because it's zoomed into their faces the whole time. You hardly see any of the action on the field.

Third, it spent so little time on some of the major teams in the tournament such as Croatia and Sweden. Croatia made it to the final and was the second best team in the tournament but it doesn't even get mentioned at all until 20 minutes before the documentary ends. Instead they talk so much about Ronaldo and Messi who didn't even make it to quarter final.
