It starts with a blind swordswoman fighting off a group of men. She fights "Zatoichi Style" using two short blades, both held in the blade down defensive position. She lets her attackers off to deliver a message to the traitor Lee. Cut to a casino. She joins another blind swordswoman and wins her money back.
There is a flashback to how Lee killed her father and blinded her. Same for the other blind girl. Do we really need two blind girls in this story? The movie starts to flounder with too many characters coming in and the story not going anywhere. Plus there's no real fight until about fifty minutes in.
Was the tiger painting on the wall a Shaw Brothers prop? Seems I have seen it before.
My copy is a digital file made from an Ocean Shores VHS. The video is as good as VHS gets and it is dubbed in English. That's probably the kindest words I have for this movie.
Overall, I found the fights poor first because of lack of focus with the moes and second because of sloppy cuts between the action. The actors only go a few moves before there is a cut in the action. The next cut often does not match due to lighting or the angle is awkward. Storywise, it was simply unbelievable to me. This was a watch one and done for me and I cannot recommend it.
