    Just great!

I hadn't seen such a great indie movie in a long time, They presented us with an incredible film with beautiful visuals and great cinemaphotography. The image quality was pretty good, The characters are very well written, The music was really great, The music was really great, Kellen Gibbs is really a great director. The actors played very well and managed to make me really believe the story. From time to time I felt sad in my film and at times it made me happy. The end of the film was also very nice. I want more from Kellen Gibbs and I want to meet him in person. I hope you achieve your desired goals.

    Original

I have always been drawn to films that break away from the conventional Hollywood script, and this movie certainly delivered on originality. It's refreshing to see filmmakers take risks and explore new storytelling methods rather than relying on tired tropes or predictable plotlines. As someone who enjoys the "body-swapping" genre in general, I found this film particularly intriguing because it used the premise in a way that felt inventive and thought-provoking.

That being said, the movie isn't without its flaws. Some viewers might criticize it for meandering at times, with scenes that feel slower or less focused than what we're accustomed to in mainstream cinema. Additionally, the ending doesn't tie everything up neatly into a tidy bow-something that could leave some audience members wanting more closure. However, I personally appreciated these aspects. In an era where so many movies follow formulaic structures, there's something genuinely admirable about a film that prioritizes creativity over convention. Sometimes, it's nice to watch a story unfold organically, even if it means leaving room for ambiguity.

The acting was another highlight for me. The cast brought authenticity to their roles. One of the most compelling aspects of the film is how open-ended its message feels. While you could interpret it in various ways depending on your perspective, I believe the underlying theme revolves around gratitude . The story subtly encourages viewers to reflect on the things they often take for granted in life and consider how appreciating those things can lead to personal growth and fulfillment. This introspective quality makes the movie linger in your mind long after the credits roll-it's the kind of film that invites self-reflection and sparks meaningful conversations.

In summary, while this movie may not appeal to everyone due to its unconventional pacing and lack of a traditional resolution, I thoroughly enjoyed it for its originality, strong performances, and deeper thematic undertones. If you're looking for a film that challenges expectations and leaves you thinking, this one is definitely worth checking out.

    so good ...

A really fine movie so simply well made one may easily overlook and ignore it ... gets a little boring near the middle ... but gets fine, even better again a little while later ... and ends in a very good way ... goes deeply into parents-children relationships without being too difficult to understand because of technical discussions we might find in a scientific documentary for example ... i really liked this movie ... all characters are true and real and i liked all actors performances ... no famous names i might know ... but they all do their acts so naturally and to the point ... especially the younger ones ... great job!

Writers and director too full of themselves

If the writers and director had a point to make in this movie, they completely failed to bring it across to the audience. Another reviewer stated this is "perhaps one of the most meaningless films I've watched"... and that's right. I can't say more without significant spoilers. All I can state-- as a forewarning-- is that this is another one of those pretentious films that leaves the audience to figure out the "meaning"-- and ending-- for themselves.

The only positive thing I can say about this film is that it has consistently good acting. Every actor pulls off their part flawlessly and convincingly, for however brief their screen time may be.

Some viewers will have trouble getting through the first third of the film, where the main character just flips from one person to another without any fill story whatsoever. Seeing this happen time and time again becomes exasperating for her very quickly... and the audience feels it.

However, the alternative was droll, monotonous slice-of-life bit parts all through the film, which I was dreading from the start (we've seen such before). Oddly enough, it was the slice-of-life parts that were most interesting in the movie. This left us with a film that was about 1/3 simplistic build-up with little or no empathy for any of the characters, 1/3 boring and monotonous, and 1/3 interesting. Go figure.

Beyond that, this may be worth watching just because it's different and holds interest... until it doesn't.

Not Sci-Fi in the usual sense

I expected Sci-Fi and got existential meaning of life mumbo jumbo. I have no idea what the message is.

The different lives don't seem to have any progression until maybe the last couple and even then I'm not sure what that progression is. The rules seem to change, or is she growing? If the latter, I don't really buy it. And a couple of the lives are disturbing, one in particular. What gets left behind when she moves on? How does that person cope?

In the beginning of her "journey" she flits between lives quickly and it is boring. Finally she starts getting invested a little, and more each one following. I liked the one with the old man where she, as he, confesses everything to the man's wife. I talked about rules changing - now she says she can remember some of the old man's life. That definitely wasn't true in earlier ones.

I was very annoyed when she went to the church. The only message I clearly understood in this movie was to say Christians are total hypocrites and don't care about anyone else. Here is a lost soul screaming for help and all of them just want to get rid of her.

I wasn't real happy with the ending either.
