Long tan ju shou

I don't know if they set out to make a parody, or if this movie is what they thought was a serious monster movie. Opening scenes are in the lab, but incoherent, and soon it switches to a bar scene with an 'influencer' with young people and a professor waiting to go on a hunting expedition in the Dragon Lake Nature Reserve. Insults are given, and a fight breaks out, and then it turns out all of them are on the expedition. It seems as if the roles are such that if one adds up the IQ's for everyone, perhaps a half wit results because there are a lot of very dumb and silly things that follow. Nicely done tiny pink snakes hatch from huge eggs, and they say they are pythons. Meanwhile, 'mommy' appears, and she is huge, is hooded with horns, and they call her a python. They knew they were in trouble, and escape to the same lab which is in the opening scenes, and there is a huge dragon, one of the silliest and strangest creatures I have seen in any monster movie. Turns out the lab was researching heart drugs, and to extract it from a lake fish, they created a huge amount of bio-waste, which leaked into the lake giving rise to mutants. It is not a great movie, but it will astonish the viewer in how silly and dumb it is. I have never viewed a movie like this one. It is nuts.
