Soap

It starts out with House kidnapping an actor who stars in a soap. House has noticed stroke-like symptoms as he does his role on TV. Like so many patients, he starts out annoyed and angry and showing no serious problems.

While this is happening, the hospital is being evaluated for possible problems. Cuddy realize that House could destroy her and the hospital's reputation.

Wilson and Amber go mattress hunting which brings back the whole manipulation thing. She has to have the final say in every avenue of their relationship, but she is trying to get him to be a bit selfish once in a while. This is a rather average effort.

As House explores Evan Greer's dressing room to look for clues, he finds Greer's Emmy award and pretends to be overwhelmed at accepting it. Hugh Laurie (for his portrayal of House) has been nominated seven times for an Emmy and four times for a Golden Globe, and has won two Golden Globes.

Goofs
House is doing a visual field exam on guest star Jason Lewis, whom he thinks has a brain tumor, without patching one eye, testing both eyes together at the same time. Visual field exams have to be done one eye at a time, with the eye not being tested wearing a patch, to prevent one eye's visual field from interfering with the measurement of the other eye's visual field. House doing the test without an eye patched will yield worthless information.
