From Unknown Graves

Watching S3 of the Orville at the same time as Strange New Worlds is a slightly eerie experience. Especially when episodes like this crash into you. The story is so beautifully crafted, the writing so good, and it's a prisoner to nobody at all (unlike Star Trek). The humour and the heart are all there and I loved it.

Great character building, great world building with the klon background, great sub-plots. What can I say, it's another great episode. SOOOO GOOD!!

This is my favorite show now and I really look forward to each new episode. I really hope we get more seasons!

Where other shows give us maybe 20-25 min of episodes The Orville gives us almost a whole movie, or 3 episodes in one. Not only is this a diplomatic episode, it's also a love story and a origin story that could have been episodes in their own rights. I really hope this comes out as a Bluedisc collection at some point as I really want to save this show for the future. Thank you Seth for saving sci-fi for future generations.

This is was just the loveliest episode. The parallels with next generation are obviously always here but the new take on characters and events are always carried out in just the most intelligent and heart felt ways. Isacc who resembles data from TNG, has performed magnificently throughout and especially in this particular episode.

This was an interpersonal drama episode, fairly low on the sci-fi and even a "Claire's relationships" episode in part, but somehow they made it work. The A-story absolutely knocks it out of the park - it's a little predictable, but that doesn't stop it from still hitting the high notes. The B-story is really just transparent filler, a bit trite and cliche, but it didn't serve enough of a purpose to matter and Bortus' one line made me bark laughing.

Season 3 looked like it was going to be a real clunker at first, but it's really turned around in the last couple of episodes. Hoping it stays this way for the rest of the season.
