Are Brian(Ahmir) and Amber still together?, does their family approve?. Will Brian take up his new religion and practice at the workplace in Australia?. Do we care?.
If they want to make a sequel, they need to answer whether audiences care or not. The puppeteer (how do you make money at that? is it feasible), and the young Amber, who hopes to get her Visa and live in Australia.
While parts of this documentary are interesting, the different culture , The Koran, and her family could have been explored more. Amber is lovely and their clothing and jewelry from the wedding is interesting, their lifestyle, etc.
Overall reality docudramas seem to be on the wane. While this topic could be interesting for those of us with an open mind, a lot of questions remain unanswered. It is interesting to see the streets of Pakistan and how people live. I had recently also viewed "Cairo Time" with Patricia Clarkson and it centers on her relationship with a colleague while she is on vacation in Egypt. The scenery and surroundings are intriguing. Parts of the country, the desert and the Nile are beautiful.
Lacks substance, but recommended.
