Typically Primitive Vim Comedy

Bobby Burns and Billy Ruge are prisoners. They escape with many a kick to the pants and rolling down a hill. Eventually they find Oliver Hardy bathing in the sea, and steal his suit. Now Hardy is dressed in his striped underwear, while Burns & Ruge both occupy his suit.

That's the basis of this comedy short, along with some ladies at an amusement park to frighten, and some prison guards to chase the wrong fellow. There isn't much more to it than that.

How, you may ask, did Vim stay in business with poor work like this? Well, they didn't. But it was a period when the demand for short comedies was so great that they could get away with it briefly.
