"Hey, I have this cool idea for a big fight scene involving the turbo-lifts. Can we make them go through crazy loops and go on for several minutes?" "Sure!" Throwing logic out the door ruins the storytelling.
Also, the final source of The Burn was also another hard pill to swallow. Given the blank slate Season 3 started with, it's sad that it all came to this.
Tilly with that hairdo looks more and more like John Travolta as a Psychlo in the Battlefield Earth movie (2000) ...Coincidence?!
Every episode increased the tilted head whispering, crying, and gender issues, instead of good Star Trek stories.
It seems that the future Federation is so impotent that the weapons from the whole fleet can't destroy the antique ship Discovery
An extremely interesting mystery of "The Burn" progressed so slowly into a galactic anticlimactic "The Bore"
A fortune was spent on sfx and cgi, but STD has no soul or genuine sci fi content We are watching *soap fantasy*. Bad acting, bad writers, bad directors.
Judging by the laughable elevator ridiculousness this ep, Discovery must be tens of kilometers/miles across!
Season 4 scripts have been clearly revealed this ep, and unbelievably, next year looks to be worse than this season!
STD experiment = epic fail

- TriviaThe console Su'Kal touches has Morse code etched on the side. The code includes the word 'RODDENBERRY.
- GoofsMichael's plan to escape from the Emerald Chain is to eject and detonate Discovery's warp core, then have Book attempt to use the spore drive to jump back to the nebula. Discovery has been shown to be able to make spore jumps even from within an enclosed space. If Book can use the spore drive, there's no point in first ejecting the warp core.
Correction: The detonation of Discovery's warp core wasn't to allow them to jump, it was to destroy the Emerald Chain ship.
Destiny could jump without blowing the EC ship, and in fact needed to, otherwise they would've been destroyed with the EC ship when the core detonated.

Gray Tal: You found them.
Adira: Yeah. Not a moment too soon looks like.
[Hugh and Saru are shocked to see Gray]
Dr. Hugh Culber: Gray?
Gray Tal: You... Y-you see me?
Cmdr. Saru: The Holo. It recognizes you.
Dr. Hugh Culber: Hi!
[Hugh hugs Gray to prove that he can actually see him]
Gray Tal: I- I forgotten. Hi!
Dr. Hugh Culber: You do have kind eyes.
Adira: Told you.
- Crazy creditsIn the closing credits, the theme is replaced with the original closing them to Star Trek (the original series).
