This story is on the train. 2 famous actor and actress did a good job. I think If you feel upset, you should watch this. Especially people who have just left their loves should watch :)
It is a new movie on Netflix. The first scene is in Ankara and the feeling it makes you think that it is going to be a good movie. I believe it is one of its kind in Turkish cinema.
It was absolutely beautiful. I loved the acting of Metin Akdülger. For an adaptation movie, this was the best they could've done. It makes you want to jump on a train to find your ex. And also; Love is always unexpected for pure hearts.
"Yarina Tek Bilet" is a Turkish romantic drama capturing the bittersweet essence of love and a second chance. The film decorates the unfolding romance with picturesque cinematography, showcasing scenic landscapes of Turkey. Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Metin Akdülger share a palpable chemistry that makes the characters' interaction heartfelt. However, the movie is not saved by the dragging pace in some places and the rushing in others, which really can bring down the emotional current. Meanwhile, the touching storyline often succumbs to the pitfalls of predictability and melodrama, reducing the impact of its more touching moments. Despite all these flaws, "Yarina Tek Bilet" somehow manages to give a touching portrayal of love and reconciliation, with which especially the fans of heartfelt romance stories do resonate.
At parts hard to watch, a well told story that was phenomenally acted. Two strangers meet on a train and their two tragic love stories slowly unravel.
The great soundtrack and wonderful acting is what keeps this film from being a somber spiral downward. Additionally the way in which this story is told was a great storytelling tool...two strangers sharing a compartment on a train as it sways along the countryside heading towards Izmir. It's a fourteen hour trip and Ali, a lawyer, is filled with curiosity about his traveling companion prompting her to speak. Leyla, carrying a small bag and a battered violin case, just wants to be left alone...so she takes an aggressive approach to Ali's inquiries and starts digging through his bag to get him instead to talk about himself.
This is a heartfelt look at the human condition, especially heartache and what it prompts you to do. I don't think this film would be nearly as watchable if it wasn't for actors Metin Akdulger and Dilan Cicek Deniz. Individually and together, they are charming. Silence and sound is used well to give moments to breathe in this emotional story.
I think this film is worth seeing for the end alone. This is a recommendation for me...not necessarily to romantics, but to people who enjoy a well told story,

- Quotes
Ali: What do you mean, "How did your love begin?" Why don't you ask how it went instead of how it began?
Leyla: It seems yours didn't go anywhere, that's why.
Ali: That's the point.
Leyla: What?
Ali: People think love just happens instantly. They think love is about the beginning. No one's interested in maintaining the love. I believe love is something you can succeed at.
