Trivia
While writing the script, the competitor's names were not yet created so they were referred to as letters from A-O, 15 originally intended competitors. When names were created, the writer decided to follow the same scheme which is why each competitor is named in order from A to O. A (Andrew) had filming complications so to keep with the alphabetical theme, The Chancellor was given the actual name of "Andrew", which is referenced in the end of the film by the "Omega Man".

Goofs
During the first half of the film, The Chancellor mentions 5 players have been eliminated. Although, only 4 have. This is because in the original script a character named "Andrew" was supposed to reject the rules of the game and try to run off. During the time, he would pull his collar and it would go off resulting in the first on screen death. However, the actor cast did not show up for production and the script was rewritten on the spot. "Andrews" lines were given to the "Nick" character: "This shit is crazy, you can't make me do this and nobody else can!"
