This TV movie based on a true story: Four children at age 8-12 lived almost one year alone. The oldest boy cared for his three younger siblings and ran the household himself. But one day, in April 2007, he got tired to do this all and was desperate, therefore he called the police. When the police arrived, they found a dirty apartment. And when Niki Stein read this article in the newspaper, he got an idea to make a film version.
