Graduation season is here, and the stage is calling. It’s time for caps, gowns, and cheers.
Whether you’ve graduated from the land of higher education, high school, or even middle school or know someone in the class of 2025, graduation is both a closing and an opening to new opportunities.
Disney has featured many shows and movies, all which focus on school as the primary backdrop for the story in various series (with the exception of Phineas and Ferb because the series revolves around their 104 days of summer vacation).
With Disney's many diverse films and shows with different characters and plots that primarily revolve around a tween and teen audience, and people yearning onto nostalgia, there is no surprise that there are numerous graduation episodes from Disney Channel shows that are being rewatched.
Here is a ranking of the most over-the-top Disney graduation moments from its films and shows.

While Ross and Rachel’s kid Emma may have overshadowed him in the last two seasons, Ben Geller was the first Friends kid we fell in love with. Born to Ross and his lesbian ex-wife Carol, Ben’s birth itself was a great plot point of the first season. As an infant, Ben was portrayed by Michael Gunderson and later by twins Charles and John Allen.
From seasons 6 to 8, Ben Geller was played by Cole Sprouse before the character completely disappeared from the storyline. Since Sprouse played it last and had a memorable seven-episode run in these two seasons, fans quickly recognize him as Ben even in his adult life. Jennifer Aniston was shocked to learn a couple of years back that Sprouse was already in his 30s.

Brenda Song was once one of Disney's most well-known young stars. At 16 years old, she made her debut as the rich and ditzy London Tipton in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The series ran from 2005 to 2008 and was spun off into The Suite Life on Deck, which ran until 2011. Sandwiched in between this period, Song's career also included playing the titular action-adventure lead in Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior.
Along with co-stars like Debbie Ryan, Cole Sprouse, and Dylan Sprouse, Song was one of Disney Channel's most prominent stars in the 2000s. She made crossover guest-star appearances on series like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, playing her London Tipton role. After leaving Disney Channel, her career slowed down for a while as she played smaller parts in TV shows. Song is back again, however, with a major film role.

In response to Duell’s decision to leave the series, executive producer Frank Valentini took to X (formerly Twitter) late Saturday evening, saying in a statement, “I am sad to confirm the news of Chad Duell’s forthcoming exit from ‘General Hospital.’ I have loved working with Chad over the years and wish him nothing but the best. For those wondering what Duell’s exit might mean for the character, Valentini indicated that there are still plenty of “great” stories to tell for Michael as the countdown begins toward Duell’s exit, but there are no immediate plans to recast the character at this time.

As reported by /Film on January 4, 2017, the Disney Channel canceled "Girl Meets World" after three seasons. Upon completing production on the show's third season, the "Girl Meets World" cast and crew had been patiently waiting to hear whether or not their series would be renewed for a fourth go-round. Instead, the show's aptly-titled season 3 finale, "Girl Meets Goodbye," became forever known as the final episode.
If you listen to "Pod Meets World," the podcast hosted by "Boy Meets World" and "Girl Meets World" veterans Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong, you'll get the sense that Michael Jacobs -- the co-creator and head executive producer on both shows -- is a very dogged and focused individual who knows what he wants and will do anything to get it. For most of his childhood, Cole Sprouse was naturally lumped together with his identical twin brother, Dylan Sprouse. They started their acting careers while still in diapers, unaware of the future fame their first commercial would bring. Sunday Am Update: How bad was this year’s Super Bowl weekend? Realize that Kenneth Branagh’s romance mystery misfire, Death on the Nile, opened to more over the Big Game weekend ($12.8M) two years ago, and that’s when female moviegoers were scared of Omicron!

Classic Disney shows like Lizzie McGuire and Good Luck Charlie deserve a reboot to cater to the desires of their original audience. A revival of Jessie could explore whether Jessie was successful in Hollywood and show her as a new parent. A reboot of K.C. Undercover could follow K.C. as a newly graduated spy trying to balance a normal job and secret missions.
Ever since the news of the Wizards of Waverly Place reboot with Selena Gomez hit the internet, the spark of hope for other Disney shows to receive revivals has been reignited. Even though Disney Channel has been going through a rough patch in terms of producing hit teen series, there are plenty of beloved classic shows that no one is ready to say goodbye to yet. Some series have been given a chance to wrap up their storylines nicely, but others haven't been so lucky.

Even though Disney Channel has been going through a rough patch in terms of producing hit teen series, there are plenty of beloved classic shows that no one is ready to say goodbye to yet. Some series have been given a chance to wrap up their storylines nicely, but others haven't been so lucky.

Bunk’d, which is currently the Disney Channel’s longest running sitcom, is to conclude after the seventh series.
From early 2000s classics like Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire to The Suite Life franchise, That’s So Raven and the hugely succesful Hannah Montana (which was spun off into feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009), Disney’s formula of well cast, high concept sitcoms has put it at the top of the tween sitcom tree for several decades.
One of its more recent successes was Jessie, which provided a star vehicle for Debby Ryan after several years in The Suite Life On Deck.
The show saw Ryan play the titular character, who acted as a nanny for three kids – Zuri, Ravi, Luke and Emma, played by Skai Jackson, Karen Brar, Cameron Boyce and Peyton List, respectively. Jessie grew into one of Dusney’s most popular shows and eventually ran from 2011 to 2015.

Dylan Sprouse is getting a lot of praise on social media for standing up for co-star Kim Rhodes by refusing to have his character use a "fat joke" on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
On the Disney Channel sitcom, Sprouse and twin brother Cole Sprouse played the titular characters, while Kim Rhodes co-starred as their mother, Carey Martin. For a recent appearance on the Back to the Best podcast, Rhodes reflected on how the Sprouse twins had defended her "all the way through" the show's production, expressing her gratitude for the former child stars. Rhodes, who was pregnant at the time, also described one incident in particular where Dylan's Zack was scripted to joke about his mother's weight. The young actor is said to have outright refused to say the line, pushing back when a producer demanded that he do so.

Dylan Sprouse's kindness and respect towards Kim Rhodes is evident when he refused to deliver a fat joke at her expense on the set of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Sprouse's decision to skip the line and stand up to the executive producer shows his maturity and integrity, especially considering his young age during the show's run. Dylan Sprouse's post-Disney career has been unique and diverse, including acting in films and video games.

Just incase Dylan and Cole Sprouse forgot they have an important dinner to make on Thursday night, fans of their series “The Suite Life on Deck” were eager to remind them.
A meme of the two at-the-time youngster actors began making the rounds earlier in the week, finally leading to Cole acknowledging the reservation on Thursday, posting to his Instagram story a screen recording of his exploding notifications pinging him about the show.
The reference in question is a throwback all the way to the first season of “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” spin-off where Zack and Cody, played by the Sprouse brothers, attempt to make a reservation at a Chef Gigi restaurant in Rome. In the episode, the hostess tells the two, “I can squeeze you in at 7:30 … on Nov. 16, 2023.”
Pop Based shared the clip in question early Wednesday morning.

Martin, party of two? Your table is finally ready.
For Disney Channel junkies of a certain age, today’s date (Nov. 16, 2023) holds a very special, very unhinged meaning. “When in Rome,” A 2009 episode of The Suite Life on Deck, found twins Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody Martin (Cole Sprouse) trying to get a reservation at a restaurant in Italy. Unfortunately, they were informed that a table wouldn’t be available until 7:30 p.m. on — you guessed it — Nov. 16, 2023.

Steven DeKnight, known for the Netflix version of “Daredevil” and “Jupiter’s Legacy,” has called Disney+’s upcoming reboot of the superhero drama an “old Disney scam.”
In 2022, it was announced that Disney+ would be moving forward with its own Daredevil series, titled “Daredevil: Born Again.” Though the series will see Charlie Cox reprise his role as the blind superhero, it will largely involve a different creative team than the one behind the Netflix original.
“It’s an old Disney scam where they slightly rename a series to reset contract terms back to first season. Needs to be addressed by all the guilds/unions and crushed!” DeKnight wrote on X.
The filmmaker’s post was part of a conversation about HBO’s recent cancelation of “Winning Time.” In response to the news that the series was cancelled after its second season, a NYC-based IATSE grip asked if he had to “post...

Reboots and revivals have become mainstream, but there has also been a trend of kids series getting adapted for adult audiences, like iCarly and Zoey 101, and some shows should follow in their footsteps. iCarly, which aired on Nickelodeon, ended in 2012, and nine years later, a revival series featuring a handful of the original characters as adults debuted on Paramount+ in 2021. Similarly, Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 aired its finale in 2008, and 15 years later, a sequel film will drop on the network's streaming service in 2023.
However, whereas the original shows were geared toward children, the revivals are more mature and meant for adults. The producers of the new projects understood that their initial target audience had grown up and would be less likely to tune in if the revivals were PG. As a result, they had to mature their product. The new iCarly series has been a success with three seasons under its belt,...

Debby Ryan leads the talented Jessie cast as the titular protagonist, an idealistic girl who moves from Texas to New York to pursue her dreams. However, to make ends meet, she becomes a nanny for a wealthy family’s four boisterous children. The life-changing experience puts her into several misadventures of her own. Jessie made use of quintessential Disney sitcom tropes, thanks to showrunner Pamela Eells O’Connell who previously wrote and executive produced The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spin-off The Suite Life on Deck. Thanks to its cast of then-emerging stars, Jessie stood out on its own as one of the best Disney Channel TV shows.
While Jessie established its lead actor as a mainstream Disney star, it also proved to be a major opportunity for the actors playing the children of the uber-rich Ross family. As for the actors playing their parents and the performers playing the supporting characters,...

You're probably pretty familiar with Cole and Dylan Sprouse if you grew up in the '90s. The 27-year-old twins started acting when they were only 8 months old and haven't stopped since. They got their big break playing Ross Geller's son, Ben, on "Friends" and the adorable Julian in Adam Sandler's "Big Daddy" but gained a huge following with their Disney Channel show "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and its spinoff series,"The Suite Life on Deck."
Even though they took some time off to attend NYU, the pair have continued acting through the years, with Cole taking on the role of Jughead on "Riverdale," and Dylan starring as Trevor in "After We Collided" in 2020. More recently, Dylan took on a role in another romantic drama, "Beautiful Disaster," which premiered on Netflix on April 12, 2023.

With season 7 beginning on March 29th, 2023, the Riverdale cast has welcomed back some familiar faces while also introducing several new characters. Based on the Archie Comics, Riverdale began in 2017 as a simple crime drama and followed the lives of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones and Veronica Lodge as they investigated the death of their classmate, Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines). While the murder mystery formula in season 1 was a success, the show has since garnered interest for exploring other genres (such as the supernatural or horror) and coming up with the wildest and most fanciful subplots.
Season 7 seems to be continuing the trend as "The Core Four", along with their friends and loved ones, have all been transported back to 1955 after Tabitha saved them all from being hit by Bailey's Comet. A veritable army of Disney Channel stars are reuniting for a very un-Disney project.
Matthew Scott Montgomery (“So Random!”), Debby Ryan, Alyson Stoner, Kevin Chamberlin (“Jessie”), Tim Bagley, Shayne Topp (“So Random!”) and Damien Haas (“So Random!”) have all signed on to appear in an upcoming LGBTQ+ horror thriller directed by Allisyn Snyder.
Titled “Howdy, Neighbor!,” the upcoming film is written by Montgomery, and is formatted as a “screenlife” film, with all of the footage occurring on computer screens. Montgomery stars as Benjamin, a young queer millenial actor living in West Hollywood who was once a famous child actor. When a new neighbor Chase (Grant Jordan) moves across the hall and reveals himself as a fan, Benjamin begins investigating the oddly familiar man with his best friend Harley (Ryan). Aside from the former Disney Channel stars, the supporting cast also includes Sterling Sulieman, Adam Faison, Greer Grammer and Kimmy Shields.

Photo: ‘Moonshot’ A Familiar Face in Space Going into the latest HBO Max original film ‘Moonshot’, I was cautiously optimistic. On one hand, I’m not someone who’s strongly into romantic comedies, as stories centered around love are ones I feel are generally some of the least interesting in terms of what film has to offer. On the other hand, this movie blends romantic comedy-drama with science fiction, and a cheesy teen romance film with a sci-fi backdrop did sound potentially interesting. Also of note is the fact that this movie stars Cole Sprouse, someone who, along with his brother Dylan, has been in the acting business since the two were very young. As someone who first came to know about them from the Disney Channel sitcom they starred in, ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’, and its sequels series ‘The Suite Life on Deck’, which I watched quite a few years ago,...

What would happen if you put a Disney Channel mom and a CW mom in the same room? True, it’s a scenario you’ve probably never thought about, but Kim Rhodes is here to give us an answer.
The actress is best known for playing Carey Martin, the zany mother on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” — and a few episodes of its spinoff “The Suite Life on Deck” — as well as Jody Mills on The CW’s long-running hit “Supernatural.” Like many, Rhodes joined TikTok during quarantine, cataloging her descent into cabin fever.

Dylan Sprouse, a former Disney TV star, is making his big return to the small screen on Mindy Kaling’s HBO Max series “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” a person with knowledge of the casting confirmed for TheWrap.
Sprouse, who is the twin brother of Cole Sprouse, joins Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur and Broadway stars Reneé Rapp and Alyah Chanelle Scott in the comedy.
Those four female leads play roommates randomly assigned to a dorm at a prestigious New England college. HBO Max picked up 13 episodes of the comedy last year.
Chalamet will play Kimberly, the valedictorian of her high school in the Arizona suburbs who is described as such: “Smart, caring, earnest and ambitious, she’s prepared for college academically — but not so much socially.”
Kaur will play Bela, a “comedy-obsessed, super confident cornball from the affluent suburbs of northern New Jersey who is never afraid to say what she’s thinking.

It's been about a decade since The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck ended. But if you're hoping for some reunions, you may be out of luck. Cole Sprouse explained why he didn't want to revisit the Suite Life series on Monday's episode of The Tonight Show. "I don't think it should be done if I'm being honest," he told Jimmy Fallon. "I think there's a huge potential to kind of demolish that perfect little golden memory of a program if you go back and you revive it." The 27-year-old actor then admitted he's "not the biggest fan of the sequel and the spinoff thing." "I think also, if enough time elapses,...
