Almost Alternative History

Season 1 raises a number of interesting non-traditional view points. Then again history is often viewed differently by different people.

One often sited today is the use of nuclear weapons on Japan. When I personally agree with shows statement that the entry of the Soviet Union likely played as big or bigger influence on the Japanese surrender, there are however out and out mistakes in the dialogue.

The most notable is the statement that the Japanese surrender at the end of WWII was done on the American "aircraft carrier Missouri".

The USS Missouri is a BATTLESHIP. There were no aircraft carriers in Tokyo Bay on 1945-09-02.
