La country-sitter

Yes, it's a cheesy sitcom. But at least it wasn't accidental. The goal was to be a cheesy sitcom, and it succeeded at being just that. And if you like shows with a laugh track and plotlines from the 2000s then this is the right show to watch. If you wanted something with drama and more of a real touch to it this is not the show for you. I enjoy the points made about grief in the show, and I admit, I wish these actors were in a better setting because their singing is really good.

If you can get past the horrendous fake accents, it's enjoyable. Eric Balfour saves it from being complete trash.

Great sitcom with mostly lovely characters. For me not a 10 as often dialogues /Jokes are obviously staged and not natural.

Second point is Summer - I seriously don t understand how Beau the cowboy can "fall" for such a character, they just don t match at all and it s too obvious that at some point Beau and Bailey will end up together. But they should have choosen a tiny bit more likeable character as Summer is really annoying and you just want her out of the picture.

So a solid 8 as there was more than one scene that had my eyes filled with tears.

Is it cheesy? Most certainly, Is it heartfelt? Most certainly. I really enjoyed watching this series. The only reason not to give it a 10 is because the writing is so-so.

But it's sweet and we could all use a bit of sweet in these turbulent times. If you just want to watch something that makes you feel good, has a bit of music, and is fun, give it a watch. Don't expect great scripts, but a bit of heart.

I watched all the episodes in one sitting. The show grows on you. You begin to care about the characters and what happens to them. It's funny and touching. The singing is great. Chemistry among the actors was believable. I want to know what happens now. Need another season.
