    Course of life

Nature has to take it's course whatever the subject is. We, humans, are used to live and die in a certain age; that's how it has to be. When things go out of its boundaries, mankind is expected to squeeze it in it's course. This is a sad story filmed with intelligent eastern humor and make us think of those we have forgotten. Recommended.

    Great everything. Deserved more awards.

Acting by old non-experienced actors, a perfect video shooting, not a too-much narrative story telling, a simultaneous high rhythm with low pace acts of those lovely old men. I think it should win many more awards than it has taken so far.

I really felt it's a part of a real life which is pictured by an invisible camera.

Furthermore, this version of comedy, which I call it grey comedy (not dark!) has not paid enough attention yet; it's a matter of real life, at least the way I see the life. I think this genre of filmmaking is much appreciated and should be increased by more filmmakers around the globe.

Great concept, great storytelling, great acting

Imagine a village where no one has died for the past 45 years. Particularly the elderly suffers from this, as their aging process continues without the possibility of dying. Naturally, they crave dying. The movie handles this tragic concept through a dark, sincere humor. Throughout the movie, we watch heavy themes such as depression, suicide, meaning of life and hopelessness alongside non-stop humor. Almost all cast consists of the real-life villages rather than actors, and they make a great job in delivering their parts. The cinematography is also top-notch, filled with symbolism and blessed with the amazing landscape of northern Iran. To be honest, I can't believe this was a debut movie. It impressed me at every level. Highly recommend.
