It’s time to board a plane departing Minneapolis, because a new batch of singles in the Mile High City are looking for a chance to elevate their love lives.
During the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion, co-hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey enlisted the help of the Minnesota Vikings’ Josh Metellus and the Denver Broncos’ Alex Singleton to announce where the global dating experiment is heading next season.
“I want to thank you for coming to the Twin Cities. I’m excited to pass the ball to the next season,” Metellus says, in the clip above. Virtually catching a football, Singleton then shares that Season 9 of Love Is Blind will take place in Denver, Colorado.

Love Is Blind is notoriously known for participants with vibrant red flags, but I'm surprised by this season's results. The unique Netflix experiment is one I've always enjoyed. With its release in 2020 and the Covid-19 shutdown in full swing, the pod show brought a special type of comfort to TV screens. However, as Love Is Blind has gone on, I realize the pods make it really easy for participants to hide their red flags.

Eight seasons ofLove Is Blind, and I’m just as hooked as I was when I tuned into the show for the first time in 2020. I know what you’re thinking — yes, I agree the quality has tanked quite a bit, and there are many cringe moments. But despite the downsides, I’m an unapologetic Love Is Blind fanatic! I’m talking, watching every season, following all the YouTube reaction shows, and staying up to date on all the tea being spilled outside the show. It’s one of those that’s so bad it’s good, guilty pleasure shows. But that’s not to say there aren’t aspects of the show that I truly resonate with and appreciate.

The grand idea behind the reality show Love Is Blind is to encourage love between two people based solely on personalities. However, not all cast members appear to be there for the right reasons, and not everyone comes off in a positive light, either in the pods or after meeting in person. A few even stand out for their behavior back in the suites during the initial dating process.

And it’s the one that almost didn’t even make it to Honduras. Taylor Haag and Daniel Hastings walking away married showcased that it takes a lot of hard work to complete the experiment.

Netflix continues to dominate the streaming world, with several of its shows ranking at the top of the latest Nielsen streaming charts for the week of February 10 to February 16. As one-fourth of the quartet of major characters who left the pods alone, Madison has spent much of her time trying to rewrite history. And the reunion has proven that her ability to manipulate and mold situations is unmatched. As the reunion shed a lot of light on various situations, Madison continued to push herself into stories and narratives she should not have been in while deflecting by playing the victim card.

Multiple sources have now confirmed that Harry Jowsey and Lucy Hale are dating.
And that makes these two early contenders for the title of 2025’s Most Random Couple!
Sure, they’re both young, famous, and attractive, but we don’t often see successful actresses pairing off with serial reality stars.
(Although to be fair, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams seem to have made it work.)

Yes, this particular pairing has Lucy’s fans feeling baffled and a bit concerned.
That’s mainly because Harry’s romantic drama has been well-documented on shows like Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match.

Netflix’s Love Is Blind came out of the gate strong with the Valentine’s Day premiere of its eighth season.
The dating show accumulated 1.07 billion viewing minutes in the United States for the week of Feb. 10-16, according to Nielsen. That’s better than the premiere week totals for the past two cycles: Season six had 907 million minutes in the same week a year ago, and season seven opened to 1.05 billion minutes in early October.
Nielsen counts viewing of all episodes toward a show’s weekly tally, but the ratings service notes that 95 percent — our about 1.02 billion minutes — of Love Is Blind’s total was for the new batch of episodes that premiered Feb. 14.
Sweet Magnolias (1.16 billion minutes), which finished second overall a week earlier, moved into the top spot for Feb. 10-16 with a nine percent increase in viewing week to week. The final episodes of Cobra Kai...

“The White Lotus” was a surprise hit when it first arrived back in 2021, offering viewers a look at luxury travel while many remained stuck at home deep into the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now well into its third season, “The White Lotus” is a certified hit series, sitting atop the Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report’s streaming chart for the third consecutive week.
The multi-week run at the top of the chart puts “The White Lotus” in the illustrious company of Max’s gigantic IP titles like “House of the Dragon,” “The Penguin,” and “Dune: Prophecy.” Not bad for a show written entirely by just one person, creator Mike White.

Love is Blind, the hit Netflix reality series that tests whether an emotional connection can trump physical attraction, is facing some scrutiny from viewers following its eighth season. Now in its fifth year, the series follows single men and women entering the "pods," where they date sight unseen, making strong connections based solely on conversation. Throughout its run, Love is Blind has amassed a massive following and spawned international spin-offs, but Season 8 is being critiqued online for the quality of its male cast members.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Executive Producer Ally Simpson addressed these concerns, emphasizing the series' pursuit of "nice men."
"If you look at the husbands who come from the show, it's the really nice guys who it works out for. We just need nice men. Sometimes I feel like social media is scaring some nice guys off, so we've enlisted the help of some...

For a lot of people, reality TV can be a bit hit-and-miss. But, for fans, these shows are an integral part of popular culture. Without them, audiences would have very little understanding of human nature and would fail to remain engaged with any other show on TV.
At times, fans often view the late 1990s and the early 2000s as the best decades for reality television. Shows like Big Brother and The Real World were dominating the ratings and allowing audiences to study everything that the human race had to offer. Every single season ofLove Is Blindhas the odd red flag men. But viewers surely didn’t expect to be served with a preposterous bunch of liars like the men on Love Is Blind Season 8. It turns out that a majority of them were putting up a front for the cameras while subjecting the female contestants to their problematic behavior off-screen. During the reunion, the women called out their exes for being clout-chasers, two-timers, and downright sketchy.

Writers spent 148 days on strike in 2023 in a push to get a bigger share of the pie of money made from streaming, and after all that time, some writers may still be wondering what it was all worth.
One of the wins from contract negotiations with the studios was that shows and films that reach a certain tier of success on streaming platforms will qualify for a bonus on top of the existing residuals they receive. Data about how these shows perform also had to be shared with members, but not publicly, so what shows have qualified since the contract went into effect on January 1, 2024 haven’t been revealed.
However, a report in The Ankler on Monday says that at least five streaming series have qualified for and already received payments based on the performance-metric bonuses. Those series are “Bridgerton Season 3,” limited series “Griselda,” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender” all on Netflix,...

It’s a new week, and Netflix is dropping some fresh titles on the platform, including John Mulaney’s highly anticipated variety talk show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney.”
Between Swenden’s spinoff series of Netflix’s hit dating reality series “Love is Blind” and a hard-hitting documentary centered on the hunt for al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, there’s something for everyone to watch. Many fans are looking forward to Mulaney’s live talk show, which stands to further cement Netflix’s swing at live content as well as the streamer’s relationship with the actor-comedian, who stars in the hit adult animated series “Big Mouth.”
And speaking of Netflix stars, Millie Bobby Brown (“Stranger Things”) stars alongside Chris Pratt in the sci-fi adventure “The Electric State.” The film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is loosely based on the 2018 illustrated novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag.

Countless hours of personal revelations, multiple interventions from sisters, and one conversation about communal sock bins: Love Is Blind Season 8 took a group of hopeful Minneapolis singles on the journey of a lifetime.
In the end, five couples got engaged to be married sight unseen — but only one tied the knot. At the reunion, grievances were aired, truths were spoken, receipts were pulled from armpits, and some even found closure. But what happened when the cameras stopped rolling? Tudum caught up with the Season 8 crew to discover who’s kept in touch (or kept their promise not to), what lessons the group is carrying into their next relationships, and why one pod squad member wishes he’d brought more receipts.

Love Is Blind‘s latest season has come to an end!
The Netflix dating series has aired eight seasons, with several singles looking for love based on personalities and values, and getting engaged before ever meeting each other face to face.
On the show, singles meet by going on blind dates in pods and don’t get to see what each other look like until after they propose.
Once they get engaged, over the course of several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding, and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?
If you didn’t know, Love Is Blind has already been renewed through season 10!

In the pods across the pond,Love Is Blind: UKSeason 1welcomed a group of singles seeking to answer the same question asked by many hopeless romantics before them: Is love truly blind?
If this season’s pod squad is any indication, then the answer is a resounding yes, as love is alive and well in the United Kingdom. Six couples — Sabrina and Steven, Maria and Tom, Jasmine and Bobby, Demi and Ollie, Catherine and Freddie, and Nicole and Benaiah — took the plunge and got engaged. And while not every pair said “I do” on the big day (or even stayed together after getting married), they’ve all been affected by the life-changing journey that brought them to the altar.
Now it’s time to catch up on everything that’s gone down after the reunion, which brought the pod squad back together for the first time. Who’s still together?...

Love Is Blind is hands down one of the most engaging unscripted series on Netflix. Introduced by power couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, single men and women agree to come on a show and speak to the opposite sex through a wall in hopes of connecting emotionally before physical appearance presents a distraction. Hollywood couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey greet the singles separately in a men's lounge and a women's lounge before they disappear to allow them to find connection in the pods. The pods can be a scary place with miscommunication, assumptions and projections between the sexes.

All through Love Is Blind Season 8, viewers have been getting frustrated over the fact that Lauren O’Brien didn’t defend herself or clap back harder at her fiancé David Bettenburg. Post their breakup, Lauren met Molly Rose at the cast meet-up party, and she spilled the tea on everything that had transpired between her and David. Molly, who was previously embroiled in a love triangle with Lauren and David, was left speechless upon hearing how David treated Lauren. She told Lauren that she had all her support, and the two even snickered about how David wasn’t much of a catch visually as he’d been trying to project all along.

After eight long seasons of Love Is Blind, the show still struggles to reach a comfortable middle ground between drama and love. Quite similar to The Bachelor franchise, the problematic contestants are making Love Is Blind lose credibility and interest in the realm of reality dating shows. However, when Bachelor Nation threw a curve ball and introduced their golden spin-offs, viewers could not get enough! With mature conversations, heartfelt moments, and innocent exchanges, senior love makes for great TV.

Love Is Blind Season 8 is plodding toward the finish line, bringing with it a handful of watercooler moments, as well as questionable couples. While many of the couples on the series bring their own drama – with differing opinions on politics, sexuality, trauma, and religion – family members of contestants are also known to get in on the experiment. But not all families are as supportive as Brett Brown's when he introduced them to Tiffany Pennywell, making us believe in love again.

Love Is Blindcontestants seeking fame over love has been a growing problem in recent seasons of Netflix’s reality dating show – from cast members whose behavior on the show suggests they likely weren’t there for the “right reasons,” like Stephen Richardson and Hannah Jiles last season, to those more blatantly looking for fame, like Nick Dorka, whose journal entry about his aspiration of becoming “the most famous person ever” on Love Is Blind was exposed at the Season 7 Reunion. In Season 8, however, it appears that Love Is Blind’s fame problem has taken on a new form, with people both inside and outside the cast seemingly standing to gain something from the show’s popularity.

Love Is Blind: After the Altar was a reunion special filmed months after the show wrapped. Unfortunately, after Love Is Blind Season 4, the special was canceled, allegedly due to logistical difficulties and low viewership. However, the segment was a crucial part of the experiment. It gave viewers valuable insights into how the couples made their relationships work in the real world and also provided updates on cast dynamics.

Most reality shows revolve around one iconic location. The Bachelor has its luxurious Southern California mansion. Survivor has its remote Fijian island. Love Island has its sun-soaked Majorcan villa. Jersey Shore has …the smush room.
For Love Is Blind,it’s the pods. They’re a series of fairly small rooms, each outfitted with a couch, a rug, and a shimmering wall that’s shared with another pod. Singles can hear, but not see, one another as they fall in love. After popping the question, the newly engaged couple see each other for the first time, testing if love is truly blind.

Well, it was another roller-coaster season on Love Is Blind.
Five couples got engaged in the pods, but only four made it to the altar. That doesn’t mean, of course, that those four all said “I do.”
In fact, it wasn’t a very successful season from a marital standpoint, as only one couple wound up tying the knot.
Monica and Joey on Love Is Blind Season 8. (Netflix)
So who was the lucky pair who took the plunge? And why did all the others hold off?
Let’s take a look:
Monica and Joey
We’ll start with Monica and Joey, who seemed like one of this season’s safest bets.
After some initial rockiness involving her sister, these two successfully weathered every storm together, and it seemed like they were destined for marriage.
So you can imagine our surprise when they decided not to get married.

We reached decision day in Love is Blind Season 8, when our four remaining couples walk the aisle and reveal whether or not love is really blind. The season began with our singles in Minnesota getting engaged in the pods, leading to the process following through all the way to the end, with only one couple not making it to the altar. Who says Yes? Who Said No? We recap everything that happened in the Love is Blind Season 8 Wedding episode.
This Sunday, we should see the aftermath of the entire season, and the Love is Blind Season 8 Reunion will take place on Netflix at 9 Pm Est. The whole cast from Minnesota will be at the reunion, including Madison, Meg, Mason, and Alex, who had an interesting turn of events unfold in the pods. I’ve heard some chatter about what unfolds at the reunion, and it should be spicy.
