A sublime film on themes too little approached in the cinema. A must see !!

Sensitive little movie about a young convict, whom we find out he may have gay tendancies, only tendancies. He is calm, smooth, not the tough guy as we may expect from a con, even a gay one. Deep but unfortunately too short character study, about friendship, loyalty. Very moving story, thanks to this fantastic young actor who gives here a wonderful performance. Good but unfinished ending.

Provocative seems be the fair term for define this very special short film. Because it propose a lot of things to viewer, each not so easy to assume.

A young latent gay man in prison. Persecuted by one of his jail mates, feeling attraction for other inmate, being not accepted , for his intime orientation by his mother, becoming free and being decide , before left the jail, to solve his duty to the inmate who you loves, rejecting him.

A great, poetic, gentle, sensitive and just impressing short drama about the way , the best way to assume yourself.

The result is just admirable .

You feel that.

Because the film not gives a good story but a strong kick to reflection about options, love, price of freedom and duty to yourself.

So, a provocative, in profound sense, film.

The themes are very strong. The actors are overwhelming. The film deserves immense success.

A burning, daring and poetic film that explores the issues of identities, internalized homophobia and love in prison. Josza Anjembe has not finished shaking up French cinema.
