What a waste of Time & Money! STAY AWAY!!

I must admit that the cover had me fooled. It's eye catching but that's about all that is good about this movie. The acting is terrible and James Cahill is a joke as a director and actor. It's funny to see that everyone in Mexico speaks perfect English and the fact that "Johnny Cash" is a bad ass is even funnier. He manages to beat up guys twice his size and with very little effort. I applaud the fact that he is trying to make a movie based on the events in Juarez but jeez, this P.O.S. film is a joke. I suggest that the actors of this movies do not put this on their resumes, they will be laughed out of town! One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Everyone stay away from this movie, your wasting your time and money!

    Total garbage

This has to be the worst garbage I've seen in a while. The "disappeared" as they are known on the Juarez and El Paso border should have made for a good movie. Director James Cahill who also stars in this car wreck gave up a terrible movie. Zero entertainment value in this one. You got the main character "Johnny Cash" (no BS) who is so unbelievable as a hero it's laughable. Then you have this sex cult out in the Mexican desert that is poorly shown. Nothing of interest in this one. This is a cold turd served on a cheap paper plate. The only saving grace of this movie was that it did have an ending. I feel bad for the people that were involved with this one.

Second worst movie I have ever seen

While going through the excruciating process of watching Juarez, I kept trying to figure out if it was supposed to be making fun of something and that I wasn't getting the joke. Because otherwise, I just don't understand how something could be so bad. The acting is awful. The camera work is awful. The fight scenes are ridiculous - do gangs of huge thugs really come at a skinny kid one at a time and give up crying on the floor after they get hit twice? There are absolutely no exterior or interior shots to indicate that one is in Mexico rather than in their neighborhood of any-town USA. And these poor maquiladora women are all 6 foot tall, hot, and dressed to the nines, and, along with all of the the thugs and criminals of Juarez, they speak unaccented English?

    really awful

This movie -i wouldn't call it a film - was terrible in every aspect. Itlooks like it was recorded with a camcorder. The actors - and i use the term loosely- had a hard time acting - and were not at all convincing. The plot was not at all convincing. This was a waste of a rental. Please don't put yourself through the agony of watching this. I suggest renting Bordertown instead or reading Daughters of Juarez - the book is excellent and i would rate it as a 9.5/10. The music is terrible too. The sound effects are very cheesy. The actors that supposedly didn't speak English actually spoke perfect English. The director of this movie should be ashamed. It was almost comical how terrible this movie was. Hope you found this review helpful.

    Too Horrible to Be True

This is the single worst movie I've ever seen. I don't know how I was able to force myself to watch it in it's entirety, maybe because I paid a few dollars to rent it which I'm guessing was more than the budget to make this shitty excuse for a movie was. I was more shocked to learn that this wasn't his first film, and that his other cinematic failure was equally as horrible based on the review that I read for it. There should be laws against making a film this bad and having it be allowed on a video store shelf. It seemed as though the actors in this film tried to do a horrible job. My words can't do it justice, you would have to see it to believe how bad it was. It looks like a group of people woke up one morning and decided to make a movie and they all did if for their first time in a day. Don't torture yourself, don't see this movie!
