The working title of this film was "Salutem," which means "safety" in Latin and is the name of Olivia's community.

Crazy credits
Actor James Truman is credited on IMDb as the "British Zombie" due to the fact that he was the only actor in the production from the UK, and he enjoyed regaling the crew with his wonderful Welsh accent during filming (despite not being Welsh). He is simply credited under "Zombies" in the film's actual credits, however.
