This new director is obviously very smart and talented. This being a student film is something to admire as the scenes are well crafted and directed. You get a feel that this is going to be a story that chooses to be subtle in so many ways. The quiet of it all brings you in and keeps your attention. I was very interested in the relationship between the two characters in a very short period of time. I love seeing creative short films and this is one I enjoyed very much. The actors really give off a believable mother and son dynamic and the color of the movie is so professional in comparison to most student films i've seen.
