The Gold & the Beautiful

I have to say that the film was probably the best one that I saw at the festival. Really glad it ended up winning the audience choice award and most outstanding performance for a lead actor.

I was amazed at how many great name actors they fit in to the film as well, especially for an independent. Since my wife is a big fan of Kate Linder, it was great to see her in this one with John Aniston. The Farleys were hilarious throughout the entire film, too.

Overall the plot line was pretty good and really funny, but had a tad of fix ups to do, which the producers said they were working on. Otherwise, completely awesome film. And definitely a good watch.

I love everything about this movie from the storyline to all of the talent. The movie is an extremely sweet film with something for everyone.

First off, Agnes-Nicole Winter is beautiful and her character Kristy is beautiful all the same. The character of Kristy is almost refreshing as she begins to change and grow through the film. It was a great job by John Aniston to transform her from her Beverly Hills lifestyle.

All of the other actors and actresses were absolutely perfect in their roles. This movie is not only sweet, charming and delightful, but also it conveys a great message to every one that watches that there is much more to life that material belongings. I feel this film is a perfect family film that not only sticks with the young women in the crowd, but all the dads out there too.

An old lady acting as a childish backwards crybaby young woman. Terrible and a joke.

This movie is downright embarrassing. Don't bother to watch this cliché filled disaster.

The story is extremely poor and there's nothing new or creative about it. Is the actress trying to be a teenager? I'm confused.

I was for a moment wondering if it could perhaps have worked better as an animated film for kids, but no.

The acting is awful and you can't help thinking "it's a joke".

If you read the good reviews written here, you can see that they are not about the movie itself. The producer/actress may be ambitious but making movies is not her thing.

I went to a screening of it at Palm Beach International Film Festival. Sam Golzari and the Farley brother are HILARIOUS!!! My wife almost fell out of her seat during a driving scene with them. As Chris Farley's brothers they have some "big" shoes to fill and I must say that they provide non stop humor to the viewers. I would love to just compile all of their scenes and watch them over and over again.

John Aniston is such a Hollywood legend. He does a great job in his roll on the film, but I think dramas and day time soaps are more for him and his style of acting. He is so talented though. Kate Linder also does an awesome job in her role as the assistant.

Agnes-Nicole Winter and Rebeka Montoya are both beautiful and are pretty timid in their roles but still lovely to watch on screen.

Chad the old Altel guy even has a cameo in the film. Great to see him making the transition over to film because he really did a great job.
