Basically this puppet has a very popular talk show in Egypt with a halo of anonymity around the show runners and mandatory signing NDAs by all who get in contact with them .
People became highly accustomed to that puppet being a real presenter and surprisingly several law suites had been filed at her own name regarding her sometimes controversial contents and were often dismissed due to being defended by a highly paid law firm .
Now they took it to the next level giving her her own comedy series , the series deal with her as a real person still but unrelated to her career as a presenter , but rather her being a famous Show Girl/Diva .
The presenter version had always been known to have a unique accent and choice of words that is of satirical nature . This had been incorporated highly in plot of the series as the source of comedy as everything else seem to be taken too serious since the actual plot is a thriller .
Understanding this , would explain why it may have minor to non existent international reach since the majority of her satire dialogs would be lost in translation .
But it is still fun to watch in original language hence why the high ratings by locals .
