This show was fun, sometimes funny, wholesome, heartwarming, educational, relaxing, and just a genuinely good time. The music, visuals, story and characters aren't the best you'll ever see, but there isn't one aspect of this show that is bad in any way. This isn't close to being on par with a superstar moe slice of life show show like k-on (which is my favorite anime period), but in my opinion there is nothing wrong with it and I think that you should give it a try.
There are many anime series about school girls doing various activities in an after school club; some are better than others. I'd say this is one of the good ones. The characters are likable and their activities are genuinely interesting. Of course it helps that I find both astronomy and geology fascinating at a very basic level. The animation is good, as are the character designs. Overall I'd certainly recommend this series... if you want to discover whether they find their asteroid you'll certainly need to watch.
