Pancharaaksharam is good attempt by debut director. There was lack of gripping in the movie but definitely one can watch once. Please do watch without any expectations or negative reviews. Unique story could had been done better to become a block buster

I write this review after a long gap of time, because I find it imperative to write a review, after seeing two opposite reviews about this movie. First of all, this movie should have been classified under Fantasy Thriller. In a fantasy or surreal movie, no one can expect logic or reason. So when you consider this movie a fantasy, the question of logic does not arise. The first half an hour of the movie is somewhat slow. But after the five friends came in contact with the mysterious book, the pace of the movie increases which culminates into a spectacular end. If a book is responsible for the misery of certain people, then it is also acceptable that it has the remedy for their problem. I don't know what is there for people to discredit the movie based on the argument that the book guides them to the missing person. So ignore negative review about lack of logic. It's a must watch for fantasy / thriller lovers.

A sincerely appreciate the effort of giving the linking story based on a book without boring the audience. I give 10 stars to this movie because, compared to the big budget movies released during covid, this is awesome turning point, great picturisation and screenplay. Supernatural thriller.

I'm writing the review after wasting 2 hours time watching that. I wonder why the lack of reviews posted on this, films is being this bad. A mysterious book which is old thousand years, tells the exact location of a kidnapped girl including the location of kilo meter post.
