ComicArtistPro Secrets (TV Series 2017– )

First of all... I'm amazed to discover that IMDB is now including YouTuber content in their review list. It looks like IMDB is hedging its bets in order to stay relevant. -Not that movies will likely ever go out of style, but the fact that self-made episodic videos uploaded by average folks using little more than consumer grade cameras are pulling in larger and more enthusiastic audiences than many big TV productions says something. -Something along the lines of: "The Medium is the Friggin' Message, Y'all! Are you paying attention?" IMDB apparently is. Good on them!

With that out of the way...

Ethan Van Sciver (EVS) is one of those enviable multi-talents; he can draw really well, having produced some of the more noteworthy super hero comics of the last two decades, including issues of Batman and Green Lantern. But unlike many cartoonists and authors who are just regular people when you meet them in public, EVS also comes equipped with an entertaining public persona well suited to mediums beyond the printed page. He offers a naturally charismatic radio patter and relaxed wit which belies his sharp insights and criticisms of the professional world of comics and pop entertainment.

His topics of primary interest aren't for everyone, but if you're a Star Wars and/or comics fan, then look him up. -His backlog of short (10-15 minutes approx) episodes where he reviews Star Wars toys and critiques the (then) up to the minute goings on with the Disney Star Wars franchise and fan community are spirited, fun and funny.
