Spirit of the Forest: Spirit of the Forest

An excellent gathering of artists on the artistic vein and ambition of a Live AId project, "Spirit of the Forest" unites musicians in New York, Los Angeles, Brazil and London in this song dedicated to the rainforest cause. I was making a search in here about Renato Russo credits here when I discovered this precious and unknown gem of a moment where David Gilmour, Lisa Bonet, Big Country, Jon Anderson, Djavan, Ivan Lins and many others are joined in one song to a powerful cause which is the protection of Amazon. It's a very good moment but unlike "We Are the World" the song isn't catchy or famous, it's quite confused with its mixture of voices and confusing sound, not to mention we can't hear everyone involved since most of them are joined on a choral. It's a good song anyway but I know it might disappoint some. However, since it includes many artists and musicians favorite of mine it gets a thumbs up of praise. 8/10.
