Panni Kutty

Panni kutty is comedy drama, It deals with a message on how superstitious beliefs can affect lives of people. Have to say comedy worked out pretty well in this movie. Yogi Babu's acting was on point. Karunakaran did justice to his role. All the other supporting characters did there job. Missed some of thangathurai old joke counters, yet he gave good supporting hand. The saamiyar in the cave played by dindugal Leoni was enigmatic at the beginning but felt his character was not quite rounded off at the end. Overall if u want to relax and enjoy a 2 hour native comedy flick, this movie wouldn't disappoint you.

Donot look for any reforming message. Film travels gently through the beliefs of common village people without judging them. The actors played responsibly without overacting including senior actors such as Yogibabu, Karuakaran. The background score is decent. The background songs relate very well with the flow. The lead actresses especially the one who had done sister role and the lover (of Uthrapathy) played their roles effectively without the audience feeling to ask for more. In summary, director and his team have done a neat family movie.
