Inspired by survivors' stories from Hurricane "Gudrun" Jan. 8-9 2005, which was the most devastating in recorded Swedish history.

Although the series plays out in western Sweden, with its own distinct accents, the entire cast speaks in a typical Stockholm dialect, which is from a completely different part of the country.
