There's not really much to say other than that it was predictable from the moment Phylicia Rashad made her appearance. Feels like I've seen her portray the same type of roles more often than not (yawn). Writing was very subpar as was Bresha Webbs acting. 2 hrs wasted.
A fall from grace is pretty much an unwatchable movie if you don't accept its low-budget qualities from the outset. The only way I was able to reach the conclusion of this film was from a sort of "mystery science theatre" perspective, observing the dialogue pitfalls, the utterly generic plot, and the comical court that finally brings the movie to a close.
If you have an hour and a half to kill, and a few brain cells, you may consider watching this B movie. It's pure garbage.

There's an odd feel to this. It's a movie but it feels like a soap/ tv drama but lasting a lot longer. Jasmine is a terrible lawyer. Goofs - like the white slippers disappearing as grace descends the stairs. And watch the old guy eating (not) his pasta in the romantic first date restaurant scene - he's looking at the camera half the time. Woeful.
I only read the first page of reviews, which all portray this movie as really bad, and to be honest those people need to get a life. I won't say it's the greatest movie ever, I wouldn't go to the theater to watch it, but it would be good enough for a tv-movie. The story is entertaining, there are some intriguing questions that keep a certain level of suspense, the acting isn't bad (some actors are just slightly better than others), but overal it's a watchable movie. I would have put the twist at the end a little bit earlier in the movie and developped that better, just to make it more thrilling and attractive, that's all. The story might have been a bit predictable but it's really not as bad as some reviews made it look like. Just give it a try.
I usually enjoy Tyler Perry films but this is whack. The basement scenes at the end threw me over the edge. You can't go from semi-realism to totally unrealistic. It had potential.

- GoofsOn multiple occasions during the diner scene the extras can be seen looking directly at the camera and actors, and pretending to eat and drink even when it is obvious to the viewer that there's no food on their fork.
