Joanna starts her adventure in Havana in a boxing gym with one of Cuba's rising female boxing stars. She also visits the stars of the cabaret at the National Hotel.
Joanna visits the town of Guantanamo where she learns about the song Guantanamera. She then travels across the Windward Passage to Haiti where she visits the Citadel and attends a voodoo ceremony.
