My favorite scene was "oh gOd". It really added a lot to the film and I could listen the the soundtrack on repeat for the rest of my days, but I don't really have to because it played on a loop the entire film. Danny jr is the next best actor, a beacon of light for the acting community. He will be the next Johnny Depp.
This is one hell of a mess and was the longest 68 minutes of my life. Terrible acting efforts, however, Joe Cummings managed to pull off his character. I wanted to punch the screen at my frustration at watching this. David Mason, wtf, has he never acted before, or even had any social interaction with anybody. Ashley Rene is well fit and kept my anger from boiling over into screen violence. Her acting ability might improve with experience. 1 star for the movie, Ashley Rene gets the other star. Expect nothing from this movie, put it on, walk out of the room, pop in after 11 minutes, hang around for about 20 seconds, leave again. You are safe to return after another 57 minutes.
This is a posterchild of why you should not use CGI with a microbudget. It will almost inevitably come out looking cartoony and ridiculous. Combining that with a dark storyline about domestic abuse and over-the-top acting by the father and older son, you end up with almost constant tonal whiplash.
It's the kind of bad movie you find yourself enjoying because it feels like everyone involved cared about what they were putting together. I've seen way too many films where it feels like everyone is just there for a paycheck, so this is refreshing in that regard.

Words cant describe how horrible this movie is. The acting- terrible, the script- unrealistic, the cinematography- just bad. I loved this movie. I think i lost brain cells and was endangering my acting career by watching it. Im surprised such film could be produced. Had an amazing time watching it. Please watch this movie.
Yep, it's a shoe-string budget. Yes, the CGI is pretty crap, but at least it's kept to a minimum. Though played straight, it's darkly funny, and I believe intentionally so. I'd go so far as to say that this is not really a horror film at all, except for the dysfunctional family depicted. The cast were pretty good; the antagonists made you hate them, the lead actress was sympathetic and easy on the eyes, and the kid playing her son was cute as hell. I can only guess that the negative reviews/ratings were from folks who were expecting a different kind of film and/or didn't get the humor. This is a quirky little film whose strengths outweigh its weaknesses, and is worth a watch.
