I love this show. I'm an step dad to 3 kids and I must say that this show is about as real as reality gets. In my opinion the children all seem to be very bright. They all have separate identities, which is great. Too many times I have seen parents of multiples go to the extremes in naming kids variations of the same name and dressing them the same. Its very refreshing to see kids being kids and parents allowing it. As far as Jon I understand his plight he is a husband and husbands must know how to pick their fights. Men who come here and have negative comments about Jon obviously have never been married. It takes a very secure and confident man to do what Jon is doing and not being bothered by what his wife does. In my opinion Kate is no different from any other wife, most women have some type OCD and is insecure
I use to be addicted to this then to a point it certainly get to be the same Ole same Ole after they have gotten tons of money and fame now they get to go do everything have no real struggles only bickering between each other. I lost all respect for Kate after she told TLC her best friend and sister in law could not profit from their children after all the countless hours they helped w the kids after all loved them and gave up their own time and own time with their children.I think its a sad woman who does this.Aunt Jodi deserved more..she was a good human being much better than Kate.. I will never watch again..and I've told all my family and everyone I speak do not watch this..she should want and desire the nest for everyone who wanted good for their kids.
This show is about a couple,Jon and Kate Gosselin, who have 8 kids. They have 7 year old twins, Cara and Mady, and 4 year old sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel. None of them are identical. Kate is more controlling and incredibly organized. Jon is more laid-back and easy going. This family is picked on a lot, but even though I've never even met them, I can already tell that they're really great people, It is really cute because each of the kids have their own little personalities. From a day in the life, to shopping, to vacations. We get to watch the Gosselins experience it all. I love this show and I really hope they don't stop.
I've read through the previous comments & I think its wrong for those of you to bash Jon & Kate. One of the comments said they thought Kate is a B......,if your a woman you know at some point you have been one too.Raising 8 children I'm sure can be very frustrating at times & Kate doesn't hold back just because shes on TV,like some might.I also disagree with the person who thinks they're EXPLOITING their children. If I had 8 kids & had the chance to do a reality series not only to show others what its like to raise that many kids but I'm sure it also helps to have the extra money it brings in so they can buy a lot more things for the children & a bigger home for them.I see nothing wrong with that. All this news about Jons supposed infidelity is also no ones business to judge. We have no idea about whats actually going on & its a private matter that should be between Jon & Kate-who are we to judge them. Its not like any of us know them personally & that would be the only way we could form a rational opinion.Since none of us do know them, its all speculation. I love the show & hope it continues, its one of the few reality shows that is real & not scripted to make them look perfect-because NONE of us are!!!
I was wondering why Jon and Kate's parents aren't involved in the show or even mentioned. Are they in their lives? They talk about other people all the time and how much they mean to them and how much they love their kids but the grandparents are never talked about. Do they live close by, have they had a falling out? We have watched the show for years and love it. The kids are so well behaved and it seems to be such a team effort by Jon and Kate and some aunts, uncles and friends but no grandparents. Are there any plans to put a time frame on how long they will continue to film their lives? Are Mady and Care getting tired of it? What will they do when it's time for the sextuplets to go off to school?
