    Masterpiece of medical drama, worldwhile

I agree fully with the previous reviewer that the drama is a masterpiece with a remarkable depth. I watch it long time ago and is not able to give a detailed review. But what i remember most is when a drama taught you how to live better. Kdrama Discovery of Love teaches us how to love and this one is how to make a choice in life.

Zaizen is the apparent villian in the story. But his character is not just one dimensional. Though he strives to be promoted, his act is not totally bad like a typical villian. And he always make a decision with a seemingly justified reason. He is like a person who always steer a middle course, not doing things thoroughly out of moral but surely only to serve his ambition.

Satomi is on the hand, a righteous role, who always stick to the right side, even when it means a personal sacrify.

Which way do you prefer? Whether ends justify a not-so-correct means. This is always a delimma in our real life. The writer has his answer and is up to you to agree or not.

I earnestly urge IMDC to change the name into Great White Tower or many will miss this meaningful drama.

    My favorite Japanese TV series

A masterpiece with remarkable depth and finesse. The acting of the actors are on point, especially Hitomi Kuroki and Toshiaki Karasawa. This show discusses an important question, does the goal justify the means? At the beginning, you may view Zaizen as a pragmatic person, and Satomi as an idealist, but in the end you will find out that both are idealists, they just chose different ways. This is show arouses even more feelings for people who has a big dream and view themselves as the elite of the society, since Zaizen and Satomi are both like that.
