The writing wasn't super. The acting wasn't Oscar worthy. The filming looks like it might have been made with a phone or something.
But, the movie does contain a hopeful and beautiful message, and that is the reason I watched it.
It's not often that a movie is made with faith as the driving force.
It's a nice movie.
I didn't really care anything about the dog.
The following is just filler.
I'm somewhat disappointed that the site requires you to write a minimum of 400 letters in order to leave a review. I'm not trying to spoil the movie for anyone, but instead, let you know a little bit about the message.

It's a difficult to know how to review this. I LOVED the message of the film, and I love the heart of the family who made the film. The scenery is great.
The actors are not A-listers, but they are also not the worst I've seen. I could not do as good a job as they do, and I love that they put their heart into what they do (without letting nay-sayers stop them).
I felt similarly about the music - Ioving the message, but knowing I wouldn't choose these songs to listen to for entertainment's sake.
As other reviewers have said, sometimes the scenes seemed longer than necessary - like fillers.
It was a short film, and I'm glad I took the time to watch it.

Don't expect brilliant cinema. The Wright family do their best with meagre resources to make faith-enhancing films. The acting is very basic, the photography passable, the editing... well sometimes they have to make scenes last longer than they need to!
But like the theme of this film, God has a plan for them, and films like this are just the result of them trying to do His will. So don't knock it!
At 50 mins, it won't exactly take a chunk out of your day. Accept it for what it is. Merry Christmas!

Maybe the worst of everything. Horrible acting, dialogue, film quality, editing. Cannot believe it is being shown anywhere. True it was only 48 minutes long but it was possibly the greatest waste of 48 minutes in my entire life.
This is not a glossy movie, but low budget home-movie feel - not necessarily a problem for me, especially as filmed in the Pandemic, but the poor sound balance is a put-off. The only reason we selected this show was because we were struggling to find ones with subtitles and this does, but defo needed them as speaking / sound effects / music levels weren't ideal! There's not a lot of speaking, rather many scenes with songs playing (not particularly a fan as too many tracks, although provides a break from regular festive soundtracks. Again, maybe that makes it different from the hundreds of other Christmas movies.
