Time passes fast

Theo was mentioned to be 7 or 8 several times in season 1 and now all of a sudden he's 10. A little inconsistent, don't you think? Despite the show being a bit too cheesy I enjoy watching it, especially James Roday. He's great.

Deception

I'm only up to episode 7 of Season 2. How sad was the deception of keeping Colin from the Widow (I thought it was actually Shirley MacLaine!) My conscience wouldn't allow me to do that. And Maggie being a professional Psychologist - what would she say to a patient who did this? Not withstanding all the friends' deceptions up to date. BTW, do owners not microchip their cats and dogs in the USA? For easier reunions with their owners?

Supposed to be Funny?

So...deceiving an elderly, grieving, lonely widow is funny? And is that something to admire in your romantic partner? What a shame.

When Gary is sitting in his car and talking to Rome about finding Colin's former owner, he says "Let's hope she's the devil." Jenny O'Hara in fact played the devil in the movie Devil (2010)

Goofs
In the beginning of the series they say that Eddie has been sober for seven years since Theo was born. This episode is his tenth birthday, but Enid says it's only been eight months since Wesley ran away and Gary found him the day before the events if the series premier, so Theo can be eight at most, not ten.
