Reality? Or?

A man falls off a building and lands on a car. Is it suicide. It is found that there is one of those video quest things going on where clues lead to discoveries and ultimately a million dollars. It isn't long before video games come into play for the FBI. As they play, attempting to discover the murderer, lives are put on the line. I know I'm old but so much of what they were doing seems incomprehensible to the average person.
