Loved it.

Ali fazal was too cute to watch. Didn't expect to like this movie but actually did. Was smiling in the end and also laughed. Acting was spot on.

Even though the premise of this movie is known in Japan as hikikomari, a condition that is common & increasing, the movie does very little to explain or explore the condition. Hikikomari is self-imposed by young adults behaving like hermits and is similar to agoraphobia, often a symptom of PTSD. The movie uses the condition to humorously examine possible situations that a hermit-like person might encounter in today's world. They purposely avoid exploration of the actual condition because it's generally not at all humorous to sufferers, but can be managed with cognitive behavior therapy or by using a Service Dog as a partner.
